The process of making 10 meter of fabric takes about a month depending on the weather. If the weather is bad it takes much longer.
Kalamkari handprint is an old printing technic in India and the Middle East. The fabrics bleaches in a bucket of cow dung, no chemicals are added, and then they wash the fabric in a river. The fabric dryes in the grass and then they start the printing with differerent molds. Inbetween each color the fabric is washed in the river and dryed in the grass.
