Unlined Sustainable Curtain Panels From the GreenSage Classic Naturals Collection Hemp never looked so good! Drapery panels in hemp/silk blends. Traditionally the main uses of hemp fibre was in rope, sacking, carpet, nets and webbing. Not exactly produced for a soft feel or sophisticated look until recently that is. Hemp fibers are long, strong, lustrous, and mildew-resistant and have excellent sustainability qualities. Now blended with beautiful, luxurious silk for a gorgeous, delicate but strong fabric. Rod pocket or suitable for drapery clips. High quality construction. Choose from our Damask Stripe, a Fortuny-style Crinkle Crepe or a Plain Classic Sheer. No dyes. No finishes. No chemicals. Made in the U.S. Orders accepted for the U.S. and Canada. The damask stripes (at left) lend a long and lean look to your window with 3/8" wide stripes. They can be used by themselves for a very modern look or as a sheer to update a more traditional look. (Scroll down for details on other styles.)

The fabric on these crepe style drapery panels is reminiscent of the pleated silk fabrics that designer Mariano Fortuny used in his hallmark houte couture dresses, the Delphos robes 100 years ago. At that time leaders in the European cultural movements were aiming for the creation of a modern style, freed from the restraints of convention. These drapery panels, with their long rippling, free-style pleats and supple feel recreate that modern aim, but can also be used like a sheer to update a more traditional look.
