Hot chilli peppers are famous not only for the world of rock and pop. However, Globalvegs does not only process general specialities, but also pepper varieties such as Lombardi that were introduced to Germany later, and are only grown for food industry purposes. These peppers are first sorted according to the size in compliance with customer specifications, and then filled into jars or tins by hand individually with our skilled workers applying the utmost care. Roasted peppers are made out of capia variety peppers. The way of processing roasted peppers is to grill them, skin them with special devices, and then pack them individually.

Our companys product range also encompasses red peppers of the Topa variety, raised from carefully selected seeds by a small number of contracted growers. The peppers are cut into cubes or strips of any size according to the customers requirements. Globalvegs also started to use green and yellow peppers alongside their red kind, to add Tricolour peppers to its range. Topa peppers can not only be cut into different shapes, but also in quarters, halves, or alternatively left whole, scooped out, cleaned, and stuffed, preferably with cabbage.

Gherkins add taste to nearly all of the worlds cuisines, and can be utilised in many different ways and forms. Globalvegs has become a specialist for gherkin products filled manually and automatically into jars and tins. Taking advantage of the climates in different countries, our company has been able to increase its capacity to millions of jars and tins of preserved gherkin sticks/spears/cubes. At the same time, Globalvegs offers to its customers gherkin products such as Stackers, Crinkle and Normal Cut Rondells.

Germany is one of the most important production centres in the world for gherkins and cornichons. Raised by contracted growers, the gherkins of Germany are ready for harvest in early June, mid-July, lasting until the end of September. The gherkins collected from the fields are processed within 24 hours in jars. Upon arrival at the Donaugemuese plant in Germany, they are calibrated again with high-precision machines according to customer requirements.
