Geyser Blankets

Commercial Reflective Products consist of reflective films used in countless non-signage applications such as vehicle/fleet graphics, vehicle conspicuity tapes, translucent materials for back-lighted signs and flexible materials for safety clothing. 

A Geyser blanket consists of an insulating material, assisted   by an air gap and an outer reflective coating. The whole essence of fitting a geyser with a geyser blanket is to minimize thermal energy (heat) lost and thereby same energy.  Eskom DSM has supported the installation of Geyser blankets for the past few years. Theoretical calculations show that a substantial saving can be achieved with the installation of geyser blankets.

As a member of TIASA (Thermal Insulation Association of South Africa) PREGARE is a Company nationally recognized for its lamination expertise. Our main business concern, are the lamination and conversion of insulation material for the Automotive Industry. Being a leader in the research and developing of an efficient geyser blanket for the Domestic Market, PREGARE decided to do research on the roof insulation material for the Industrial & Domestic Markets.
