Polywool Ductliner is a high effiecient acoustic material, produced from strong resilient glass fibres firmly bounded together with a thermosetting resin. Glasswool ductliners have been proven to
be among the most efficient and cost-effective ways to eliminate duct-borne noise. The sound sbsorbing property of glasswool ductliners provides attenuation of noise from HVAC equipment, air flow,
and cross-talk. Effective medium and high frequency sound attenuation can be achieved by using 1" (25mm)thick glasswool ductliner. Glasswool ductliner thicknesses greater than 1" (25mm) provide
greater low frequency sound attenuation. Adequate noise control in a duct system with glasswool ductliner materials is not difficult to achieve during the design of the system, providing basic
noise control principles are understood. Polywool ductliners applied to sheet motal ducts contribute to energy efficiency by controlling heat toss or gain through duct walls, as well as helping to
control moisture condensation. Glasswool ductliner supplying clean room should have terminal filtration of the efficiency required for the particular class of clean rooms. Applications Polywool
Ductliner is used for internal lining of HVAC ductings, walls and/or ceiling of acoustical sensitive areas to provide efficient sound insulation for any variety of structures such as home theatres,
studios or curtain walls. Facing Material Polywool Ductliner is faced with a black, strong, durable, dimensionally stable woven glass fabric. This woven glass fabric is not combustible as per BS
476 : Part 6 & 7.
