Fortis 630.10.11 L WATCH

Official Cosmonauts Chronograph.  Fortis are the suppliers to the Russian Cosmonauts, and the Russian Mig pilots, as well as Swiss Air Force pilots.  This one as the name suggests is the official cosmonauts watch.  It is a large watch and designed for maximum visibility in a true pilot or navigators style.  The chronograph function as a complication of a wristwatch has its origin from sports, though in many cases, the demands of military applications gave it new impulses for its development.  The case is solid stainless steel with matt/satinised case finish with solid steel screw on case back. It has a fixed external bezel with tachometric scale used by cosmonauts for calculating speed over a fixed distance. It has got a screw down crown and screw down pushers with a water resistance of 200 metres. The watch has got a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating. Matt black dial with numbers and hands with super luminova luminous coating.  Day and date at the 3 position. Swiss made 25 jewel Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.  Chronograph functions are indicated by the red hands.
