Radiation Detector Watch

The Geiger Watch is a unique wristwatch-mounted personal radiation monitor featuring a compact Geiger detector, built into an elegant wristwatch with a 100m depth water resistant case. Allows the wearer to continuously and unobtrusively monitor exposure to gamma radiation. The detector displays the ambient dose equivalent rate DER(Surveymode) in microSv/HR, and accumulated dose equivalent DE(DirectReading Dosimeter mode) in milliSv. Dose and dose rate information is displayed in both analog and digital format, the display(LCD)can be backlit for visibility in low light conditions.Audible alarms are incorporated to warn the wearer if preset threshold levels of gamma radiation dose or dose rate are exceeded. The Swiss-made(Ronda763) quartz clock movement features analog and digital time display, alarm and digital calendar functions. A CR2032 battery gives the radiation detector approximately one year of continuous operation at background radiation levels, while the watch functions are powered by a seperate SR621 battery(bothbatteries included).
