For Borosilicate work, these work great over Didymium Lenses, But I would not use these alone. I Use these and I love them!! Clip-on Flip-up Shade 5.0. If you are using didymiums instead of the proper borosilicate glass eye protection and you are not ready to purchase a proper pair, you can use these clip-ons temporarily.
