Mako Lens Innovation
Mako sunglasses are fitted with glass-polarised lenses has an AR (anti-reflective) coating applied to the back of the lens, which reduces the amount of reflective glare received. Applied on top of the AR coating is the Oleophobic coating, this gives the lens extra protection while also making the lens more repellent to grease, finger prints, dust and makes them easier to clean. All Mako models are fitted with glass-polarised lenses which are 20% lighter in weight than standard glass lenses.

The glasses are excellent for bright sunlight and reducing glare. The lenses are scratch resistant the mirroring provides maximum glare reduction. The Photochromatic lens automatically darkens and lightens as light conditions change, good for driving and fishing.
