The vision corrector device should be used only during sedentary household activities (working on computer, reading, writing, watching TV or movie, needle-work etc.). The vision corrector device
should not be used while driving any kind of vehicle, walking in the street, working with any kind of mechanical equipment, performing any activity which requires peripheral (side) vision.
The object you are looking at, when wearing vision corrector, should be well lighted, since the amount of light entering the eye is reduced by the black screen. The vision corrector should be worn
over your bare eyes and not over prescription lenses.
Who should use Visofit?
The device is recommended in the cases of short- and far sightedness, injured visual nerves or eye defects, caused by diabetes or hypertonia, weak or detached retina and even to those with healthy
eyes. The vision corrector works for people of any age, from young children to elderly adults. This is the only eyes trainer device which ?because of the variable adjustment ?can be well adjusted
even for shorter PD and also can be used for longer PD.
How does it work?
The device is a double dark screen with two openings as far apart as the average distance of the two eye axes. In front of and behind the holes are two connected and adjustable rubber disks for
setting the distance of the eye axes. On the inner surface of each screen is a smaller revolving disk with a row of holes of different diameter. By turning this disk, one can elect the right hole
to make sharp sight possible for the individual eye.
The vision corrector helps in cases of nearsightedness, farsightedness, presbyopia, double vision, tired-sore-red-eyes, accomodation disorders, lazy eyes, computer related eyestrain, cataract.
Depending on the nature and position of the cataract, the vision corrector can often produce a clear vision which is not possible to obtain with conventional lenses.
The case studies show that vision corrector allows to obtain clear, binocular vision to a person with one eye farsighted and the other nearsighted.
It gently stimulates undominant or even lazy eye to work without provoking tension. In cases of blurred sight or a great difference in diopters between the two eyes, separate training is
recommended for the left and right eye respectively, as the hole size on the disk can be adjusted separately. Thus, for example, if only one eye has a vision defect, a closed diaphragm on the disk
in front of the healthy eye can be adjusted and only the sick eye is being trained.
Use the vision corrector at daily basis. Start with 5 minutes at the time and gradually increase up to 30-40-minutes. Looking through the hole can be distracting at first. Your visual system needs
some time to adjust to that new way of seeing. Take some deep breaths, blink a lot and yawn.
After a while you will notice that using the vision corrector become easier. Seeing through the holes and the process of its adjustment is somehow similar to those of the microscope or binoculars,
or to the image we can get seeing through them. Our brain will start seeing beyond the holes.
The vision corrector creates the ambiance allowing the visual system to achieve more and more clear perception, without tension, strain or effort. The sensation of relax and well being will remain
also after taking the vision corrector off.
The case studies show that the average time to observe the permanent improvement of vision is around 6 weeks-6 months from the beginning of the vision corrector training;but of course it varies
from individual to individual
The vision corrector adjustable for PDs of both children and adults. No effects can be expected in cases of injured visual nerves, diabetes-or hypertonia related eye diseases.
They can be succesfully used in almost every eye condition, no matter how big the refractive error of the eye. It works even in cases when the clear vision cannot be produced by any other solution
with conventional lenses
This device requires no special mantenance.
