Detailed Description    
   A French Seafarer and Discoverer from the 18th Century sitting on Rocks near the Sea holding an Anchor and Globe, in the lower part are shown different flags, maritime weapons etc. - made of bronze, gilded, 38 cm high (15 inch), 8-days movement - signed on the movement (reverse) by Master "Breden" and numbered - outstanding original condition (traces of use and cleaning at the base), original movement -
    Note: Very difficult to find one of these clocks with a maritime motif and in such a good condition. This clock is fire-gilted, a method which is not anymore in use since the beginning of the 20th Century. Shipping and insurance within Europe and to the USA is included. Please note that the clock is complete and here in working condition, but might not work without new adjustment after shipping (should to be adjusted by a clock expert) - we have it displayed here without it works (as a decoration).
