Execution
The dials with or without illumination are made of black thermo-lacquered light metal and are mounted directly onto the facade. The solid clock movement is usually mounted behind the
wall, which means inside the building and the length of the hand shaft is made according to the wall thickness. For flush mounting from the front side, the clock movement is fixed
on a cover plate.
Function
The facade clocks with electronic impulse memory are controlled from a master clock by polarized minute impulses (impulse voltage 12 - 60 VDC). The hands are driven by an a.c. motor
(connection voltage 230 V / 50 Hz). The hands are automatically reset to the correct time after a mains failure. The important torque as well as a self restrained gear in the clock
movement guarantee a safe functioning even when exposed to high wind speed.
