Product DescriptionThis doll depicts a Yangban lady doll. Yangbans were well-educated scholarly males part of the elite ruling in Korea prior to 1945. The clothing that the doll is wearing has been authentically replicated from historical records. The dress has been stitched by hand. The hands and shoes are plastic, and the face is made with covered fabric, with the eyes, nose and mouth drawn in. The clothing is a mixture of silk and nylon. Doll mounted on a wooden stand.
