( 011 ) Dinosaur Fossil

   A large carnosaur Dinosaur Fossil. The skull is low, long and heavily built, measuring a little more than 1 meter in length. The teeth are relatively small but sharp and dagger-like in shape. The neck is very short. The trunk, consist of 14 amphiplatyan dorsal vertebrae, is slightly longer compared to that of the other Jurassic megalosaurs. The ilium is high. The distal foot-like processes of the pubis and ischium are comparatively developed. The forelimbs are diminutive, the powerful hindlimbs were equipped with sharp, massive claws at the tip of digits for holding prey or tearing through the tough skin of animals. It was a fierce and cruel bipedal carnosaur, preying on plant-eating dinosaurs and other animals. This beautifully preserved skeleton has a total length of 9 meters. It is the most complete skeleton of carnosaur so far known in Asia.
