Elenco Energy LabThe original self contained Energy Lab. The Energy Lab has been designed to make children aware of the importance of energy conservation.
The kit includes a detailed manual dealing with renewable sources such as wind, solar, tidal, hydroelectric, geothermal and biomass. All these are friendly alternative sources of energy, replacing a non-renewable energy such as those based on fossil fuels (such as oil, gas, etc)
The Energy Lab console includes a Wind Turbine, Solar Cell, Chemical Cell and hand operated generator. All these sources operate LED's, motor, buzzer and battery charger. The voltage is measured by a sensitive digital voltmeter (Requires 2 AA batteries in the battery compartment at the bottom of the console. The batteries are ONLY for operating the volt meter - batteries not included)
The Energy Lab is a comprehensive kit, giving many opportunities to experiment, and encourages ecological awareness. The book includes methods of how energy can be saved in the household and explains the way one can cut the cost of energy at home.
