Using a blueprint 50 Hp Tohatsu the boat is capable of speeds up to 95 km/h using a Quicksilver Bunny Prop. Speeds of over 105 km/h have been reached using a 20" Quicksilver high rake cleaver. By lengthening the boat to 4.15 m it is capable of using a 55 Hp Mercury or Yamaha 70 C and speeds of over 115 km/h have been reached.Aquarius has been at the forefront of inflatable race boat technology and has won just about every major title in South Africa, including the Constructor's Championship for the past 6 seasons.
