The 1963 Corvette was the first production year of the "C2 Corvettes" 1963-1967 Midyear generation. This would be the first year that a coupe body style was available. The 1963 Corvette Coupe featured split glass panels earning the nickname "split window" and was unique to this model year. The hood had simulated vents in two recessed areas.
