Want an that can do 25 mph? Then the Megatech Caribbean Cruiser 2 is for you. The Caribbean Cruiser 2s V hull design has been made to plane out to reduce drag and increase speed. Two 550 electric motors power a single large prop which throws up a rooster tail just like the real thing. Mounted off the transom is a "strutter-design" rudder control. Again, a feature only found on racing boats. Rounding out this competition package is the copper plumbed, (not aluminum) "Aqua-Ram" forced-water cooling system. This system features water-jacketing around the commutator ends of the twin motors keeping things cool and running at optimum output efficiency. Exiting cooling water can be seen streaming out of the model's portside freeboard-very cool. Caribbean Cruiser also comes with installed High performance competition speed control and -grip radio. The Cruiser maneuvers on the water with ease and speed and runs off of 7.2V NiMh battery packs which are sold separately. The Caribbean Cruiser 2 is a member of Megatechs HP (high performance) series.
