The wool used is processed only with gentle, non- toxic soaps. Each kitty ball contains a safely enclosed bell in the center and is machine washable. Our resident cat tester gave this a four-paws rating. The balls will last a long time if they avoid the back of the refrigerator, or spaces you discover when furniture is moved. Sold in sets of three so play time won't be spent while you hunt for them. Our wool balls are machine washable. Enclose them in a nylon with a twist tie and throw it in any wash. When the wash is done, take it out of the nylon, roll it between your hands for a few minutes and dry it on high.
