moonwalks, spacewalks, moonbounce, bouncy castles, or jumpers, are what started it all. Bouncers are the staple of the interactive inflatable industry, and every rental place will have a wide
selection of bouncers. All bouncers are made of tough vinyl and are inflated using one or more electric blowers. They have walls with large see-through mesh panels that allow parents and operators
to monitor the activity within. Internally, the inflated area of bouncers is separated into many smaller sections using baffles. This is what gives the inflatable it's strength to hold up several
bouncing kids. Modern bouncers are more than just the 4-post "castle" design. Many are themed like the Tiger Belly Bouncer" to the right, or have theme printing like the Princes Castle bouncer
below. Often they come as "Combos," as seen in the Princess Castle design -- having a small attached inflatable slide and basketball hoop. Bouncers will also have a sign listing safety precautions
and instructions, built onto the bouncer or combo itself. This is required of manufacturers by various state legislation.
