2008 Cabrinha Convert 12. 0 Kiteboarding Kite Complete

           The Cabrinha Convert in 2:1 Mode does exactly what a 2:1Mode shoulddo.  It gives the rider maximum de-power on demand on anincrediblystable platform.  This mode is ideal for gusty conditions andridingoverpowered.  Like in all of the modes, the re-launching blew mymind! Just turn the bar and the kite re-launches.  Simple.

2:1 Mode

           The Cabrinha Convert in this mode feels almost identicalto its biggerbrother, the Cabrinha Switchblade 3 Kite.  The barpressure is the sameas well as the turning speed of the kite.  From awakestyle rider pointof view, the Cabrinha Convert performs the best in1:1 B mode.  TheConvert is a lower aspect kite compared to theSwitchblade 3, butdelivers more pop and consistent pull because of it! I could reallynotice a difference with my unhooked riding.

1:1 B Mode

           AKA, My new FUN Mode.  1:1 A Mode for the convert isnothing less thanspectacular.  The kite is extremely fast and hadabsolutely no barpressure.  Yes, less bar pressure than the Switchblade3 kites!  Thismode is ideal for freestyle riding.  When kite looping, Ifelt like thekite cradled me after the loop and gave me very smoothlandings.  Whenthe Cabrinha Convert is in 1:1 A, it gives a C-Kite feelwith all ofthe comforts of Bow-Kite safety and security.

           The Cabrinha Convert has different riding modes, justlike itspredecessor, the Omega.  Unlike the Omega with only 2 modes,theConvert now has 3 modes!

           The new Cabrinha Convert has created a buzz among ridersand retailersalike.  Kitty Hawk Kites decided to put the kite to thetest.  When Ireceived the 12 Convert, I wanted to immediately compareit to mySwitchblade 3s.  I have been riding the Cabrinha Switchbladekitessince they hit the market and have loved every minute of it. TheConvert had to be something special for me to even compare it besideaSwitchblade 3 kite.  After a day of riding the Cabrinha Convert, Inowhave a quiver of Converts in my arsenal.  Heres why
