This sport scale kit can be built replicating the "YG-1B" military version (photo on left) or as two civilian models ("KD-1A" or KD-1B")  The smooth lines and nostalgic look of this 1930s-era Kellett Autogyro Kit is certain to attract both scale and sport autogyro enthusiasts alike, taking us all back in time to the "Golden Age"of aviation.

This is by far the largest model autogyro kit ever produced! The rotor disk spans 74 inches spawning an enormous 4,300 square inches of disk area producing a very light disk loading of less then 4.5 oz/sq. ft! Designed for .61 2-stroke or .91 4-stroke engines and simple 4-channel operation, this laser cut sport scale kit is remarkably simple to construct with absolutely no machining required and no fancy mixing or computer radios needed. All simple rotor head parts are included.  Blades are airfoil shaped and laser cut. Both "Standard" and "Deluxe" kits are offered.
