A Purse Seiner is a commercial fishing boat which catches fish with a large net called a purse seine. A salmon purse seine net is about 1500 feet long and 35 to 70 feet deep. The net has floats
along the top. The bottom of the net has lead weights and rings with a line running though them called the purse line.
Our Purse Seiner is a 'limit' seiner, 56 feet long with a beam of 16 feet.
Our replica is 14 inches long, 4 inches wide and 11 inches high. Seine skiff is incuded with Purse Seiner.
While designing our Purse Seiner replica, it was our goal to achive the perfect combination of 'clean cut lines' and 'clutter'. Scale 1/4 inch equals 1 foot.
