QModelings rocket stands make great birthday or holiday gifts for a rocket enthusiast.
This stand is excellent for use as a holder for model rocket painting and finishing.
The stand comes standard with no finish, but all cuts have a natural "burnt" look from the laser. Some customers like the look as is, but It can also be sealed and painted, so you can also personalize it with blast off flames or a color scheme of your choice.
The stand is made from durable hardboard and its parts are precision cut with a laser enabling you to easily put the stand together. Optionally, you can permanently glue the stand together using wood glue or CA.
These model rocket stands are designed to lift a rocket up off its Engine Hook allowing your rocket to stand proudly vertical on a surface. The stand slips snugly into standard sized engine mounts and firmly holds your rocket. The wide base provides stability for standing your rocket on a horizontal surface. The stand also includes pre-drilled holes in the base to allow for permanent mounting. This enables you to display the rocket either vertically, horizontally (Out from a wall), or at any angle in between.
QModeling has done it again! Tired of your lodel rockets tipping over? Can't stand your model rocket vertically on a shelf because of the Engine Hook? Live in California and worried about your pride and joy walking off your display stand during a shaker? Well QModeling has the answer with its new line of precision cut hardboard rocket stands.
