Irisbus IVECO, the IVECO sister company operating in the field of passenger transportation, has presented at the Mit International in Paris, the worlds largest trade fair for group tourism professionals, two : the new Recreo and the Evadys H. Evadys H is destined to open new perspectives for tourism, because it is designed to be versatile. The vehicle shows the full range of its talents by being equally suitable for "regional route" operations and "local tourism". Evadys coaches are powered by the new generation of Euro 4 Cursor engines that exhibit excellent performance. The new Recreo, after ten years of success, has given way to a completely updated vehicle, with new design and new Euro 4 engines. It will continue to lead the way in the world of school transport, placing the priority on the safety of its young passengers. At the Mit International Irisbus IVECO exhibited on its stand other new vehicles for the French market: Daily Tourys, Proway, Crossway, Arway, Domino, and Evadys HD with the new dashboard and Euro4 engine. The Axer intercity bus is intended for medium and long routes. Passengers are provided with a high standard of intercity transport. Operators throughout Europe value its universality of use and large variety of design, which mean that the bus can be used both for regular lines and for touring. The Axer is based on the well-established 900 range and provides a compromise between the intercity buses and the touring . The Axer model comes in lengths of 12 and 12.8 m and is notable for a high level of personal features depending on the conditions of its use and customers habits and wishes on individual markets. Standard equipment for the drivers compartment is a seat with a three-point seat belt. Passengers can board the bus through two single doors in the front and rear parts of the vehicle. The Axer 12M can carry 53 or 55 seated passengers with a place for a co-driver and there are a maximum of 30 places for standing passengers. With the Axer 12.8M several other capacity alternatives can be chosen. The Axer is fitted with high, reclining, padded and cloth upholstered seats. Safety may not be as visible as the appearance of a bus or its technical parameters, but in Irisbus its the centre of our attention. The risk of a transport accident caused by the bus has been reduced to minimum using optimal elements of active and passive safety. These are standard features in all vehicles produced. Irisbus buses are homologized according to all relevant ECE regulations. Among other things this guarantees that, each vehicle is at the peak technical level possible with regard to ecology, and safety both of road operations, and of crew and passengers (body sturdiness, seat belts for passengers, firmness of seats, etc.). The new buses also comply with yet non-compulsory safety norms and regulations and are among the safest vehicles on the European markets. Adhering to ecology regulations and norms in the production process is one of Irisbuss priorities. The disposal of waste that occurs during the entire bus production process is fully under control and regulated by a precise technological procedure. In keeping with ecological trends, attention is paid to new materials, in particular water-diluted bases. All waste products from the furnaces are destroyed in catalytic incinerators for emission products. The buses themselves are also environmentally friendly the IVECO Cursor engines that form the driving mechanisms meet strict EURO 3 norms and in some parameters, they already meet the requirements of EURO 4 and EURO 5 norms.
