It's a pedal-assist system, which means you can extend the battery run time by pedaling. For example, if you pedal lightly, the range is 25 miles. If you add a little more muscle power, however, you can extend that range to 45 miles! And, it's a sophisticated setup that actually charges itself on downhills, has no memory effect and can be recharged from any wall outlet. The battery is also easily removed for charging off the bike, and so you can ride the bike without using the electric assist. Getting around just got a whole lot easier!
