Semi-balanced, retractable rudders in cassettes.

Foam sandwich composite, using a vacuumed laminate system of multidirectional E glass fabrics, Airex foam, Crestomer core bond and Isopthalic polyester resin throughout. Safety features include standard double bottoms, watertight compartments and crash bulkheads.

The Dazcat 10 is a Category A vessel.

Options include open deck, bridgedeck and custom versions; fully finished and equipped boats as well as kits for home completion are available.

Retractable daggerboards and rudders make her easy to beach. Drawing only 0.45 m (1 ft 6 in) with boards and rudders up, she can make easy use of small private anchorages and moorings that dry out.

Auxiliary power is from a 9.9HP Yamaha outboard positioned under the cockpit sole in the central nacelle. Twin helm positions with hydraulic steering on the bridgedeck bulkhead give good all-round vision and control.

All lines can be controlled from the cockpit for convenient sail trimming, making the Dazcat 10 easy to cruise single-handed and race short-handed.

Accommodation is ample and roomy with standing headroom throught. Both hulls have double cabins with 6 ft 6 in (2 m) long berths, and the heads and shower area has hot and cold pressurised water.

The Dazcat D10 is a fast and comfortable sports cruising catamaran with powerful rig and ample crusing amenities. She has a 49 ft 2 in (15 m) mast and 700 sq ft (65 sq m) of upwind sail and a 646 sq ft (60 sq m) reacher to give her exhilerating performance both on and off the wind.
