The yard has one extra, unusual delight. Its view to the west, at the yard are often spectacular. If you stay past sunset, you will occassionally be treated to spectacular rising or setting of the moon and planets. (see photos below)

The locale of the boat yard has a rich concentration of resources that will help the boat owner. Marine supplies, sail loft, hardware stores, auto supply stores, welding and machine shops are all nearby. It is 10-15 minutes northeast from the Betsy Ross or Tacony-Palmyra bridges, convenient to boat owners in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region. The do-it-yourselfer will have lots of support from other owners, and Cherubini Yachts can assist professionally if and as needed.

The yard is enclosed by a fence and is locked when no one is around. Over the past many years, it has been very secure.

Owners must provide a ground cloth (blue tarp from Home Depot is OK) prior to blocking the boats, to catch flakes of bottom paint and sanding dust. Professional contractors must be fully insured and registered with the yard office. Storage customers do not have access to the boat yard's shop resources. Electricity and water are available.

Boat owners may perform minor repairs and cosmetic work to their own boat while it is in the yard for storage.

The actual hauling of boats is done by , which is adjacent to our boat yard. (In the photo on Riverside Marina's website, Cherubini Yachts is in the upper right corner.) The Riverside Marina travel lift can handle boats with a draft of seven feet, beam of 16 feet and weight up to 35 tons. It enters the Cherubini yard through a gate that separates and joins the properties.

Outdoor boat storage is available at Cherubini Yachts. The location is very convenient for people in the Philadelphia metropolitan region.
