The Banshee is a cruiser-racer, based on the , but with lower bridgedeck saloon, greater beam, bigger rig and with daggerboards. The saloon is spacious, with sitting headroom, though there is full standing headroom in the hulls. Designed as a fast offshore or ocean cruiser, the Banshee will tack through 80 degrees and can sail at close to wind speed on a reach.
