The plant hire and opencast mining companies are integrated with each other and combine to form a competitive edge in terms of service, and are able to pass on the benefits if economies of scale to our customers. The plant hire company supplies the asset base, and hires out earthmoving equipment to customers as well as supplying internally to the Mining Company on the open cast mines. The mining company also owns it's own substantial fleet of machines.
