Automotive activation: The compactor willbe activated to compact when the door is closed after garbage arethrown into the compactor. There is no need to push a button toactivate which is quite often forgotten by the operator/users.

Mechanical Safety Interlock: The doorcannot be opened when the packer plate is compacting, so no garbage canbe thrown onto the back of the packer plate thus ensuring that allgarbages can be easily and thoroughly disposed from the compactor atthe garbage dumpsite and also the packer plate and cylinders are not sooften damaged by the garbage accumulated at the back of the packerplate. Furthermore, this provide very safe mode of operation, as theoperator cannot open the door and put his head or limb duringoperation, thus avoiding the risk of serious injury.
