Anjali describes her allure of fashion as the journey of the creative process and the tangible results it amounts to.  More specifically, the designer enjoys every aspect of producing a garment that her customer loves.  Creativity, effort, hard work, and patience combine to produce her line season after season and it is with immense satisfaction that Anjali watches as her customers choose to purchase these designs.

Anjalis collection features a custom look achieved with signature details and hand work a cross between couture and contemporary chic.  The designer does not compare her look the likes of other designers as she feels her collections stand on their own.  Anjalis customer exudes elegance and flair, fun and frivolity, and is inherently secure, sexy and confident.  Similar to Anjalis designs, her customer is neither fussy nor outlandish.  There is an ease to her style that is effortless yet elegant at the same time.  

Anjali Kumar began her career on Wall Street in 1992, achieving success in the fields of bond trading and real estate investment banking.  Anjalis background has enabled her to translate her business skills to the ever evolving world of fashion.  This designers love of fashion was born during her teenage years through various experiments reconfiguring antique Indian saris into hip Western styles.  Anjali learned to sew on her mothers sewing machine and was selecting and utilizing raw silks and embroideries by the time she was sixteen years old.  When she left Wall Street in 2000, Anjali actively pursued her fascination with fashion by attending the Fashion Institute of Technology and simultaneously designing custom clothing for a set clientele.  This eventually led to the attainment of Anjalis dream the successful launch of her retail label.
