Cabinets made from aluminum extrusion are available in depths of: 7, 9 (Single Faced Only), 10 and 12 deep. Standard retainer size is 1.5; fixed top & bottom with removable ends. Top & bottom removable and front removable retainers are available if required.
Cabinet Construction:
If the design requires either a square or rectangle shape with a maximum depth of 12, then an extruded cabinet will be the best solution. Aluminum extrusions are a preferred material for building sign cabinets because they are rustproof and lightweight, yet strong enough to support many standard sizes of sign faces up to 8x16.
Once you have determined the proper sign cabinet type the next question that needs to be answered is whether or not the application calls for a single or double face sign.
