Filipiniana is a Filipino term for themed occasion in which every attendees must wear the Philippine Traditional Costume. Terno/ Mestiza Dress/Baro at Saya for women and Barong Tagalog (Traditional Shirt match with Dark Pants) for men. During the Spanish colonization the mentioned costumes (in expensivw and imported materials) are the common everyday wear for Filipino's especially the can afford families while the poor families in old and cheap clothings in same but simple styles only. And in our modern times, the national costumes can be seen in theaters showing Philippine culture, politicians attending functions, and other occasions which required the theme Filipiniana.
