Aloe Vera massage oil has great healing qualities which makes it a good choice to use on its own, or to include when mixing a massage oil or preparing a carrier oil blend for aromatherapy massage.

A tea made from the dried juice of Aloe Vera Leaf makes a fine mouthwash, effective against cold sores and also a wash for the eyes.

Applied topically, Aloe Vera is known to rejuvenate wrinkled, sun-aged skin, and will stimulate cell regeneration. It is a superb penetrating moisturizing agent, helping to stimulate the body's immune system while being naturally hypoallergenic with about the same pH balance of the skin. Nourishes the skin and tissues with body-loving nutrients such as vitamin E and C. Application also promotes the healing of acne, sores, insect bites, cuts and burns, and is an effective treatment against psoriasis and eczema. Aloe contains enzymes that relieve pain, and as a mild anesthetic, it relieves itching and swelling. Its topical application will help burns from scarring and draw out infection from wounds. Aloe vera gel is used to treat first-degree burns for speedy healing. Aloe vera gel is used to shrink warts and lessen the painful effects of shingles.Aloe Vera is an astringent and emollient; it is antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial.

A medically active complex sugar in Aloe stimulates and regulates various components of the immune system, and some clinics have used Aloe Vera to increase the efficacy of chemotherapy treatments when used with other chemotherapy agents. Aloe protects against skin-damaging  X Rays - an effective antioxidant that absorbs free radicals caused by radiation. It also reduces inflammation resulting from radiation therapy and stimulates cell regeneration.

Green Rooibos is made from the same plant as traditional Rooibos. The only difference is in the processing. For traditional Rooibos, the green leaves and stems of the plant are crushed and fermented before drying. The fermentation step is actually an oxidation process brought about by enzymes and chemicals naturally present in the plant. In the case of green Rooibos, the fermentation process is skipped, and the green leaves and stems are dried directly. Different processes are used to prevent oxidation. Green (unfermented) Rooibos infusion has a lighter tan/yellow colour and a very mild "green" taste reminiscent of green tea. Green Rooibos has higher levels of antioxidants than traditional fermented Rooibos and demonstrates even higher antioxidant and - in some cases - antimutagenic (cancer-fighting) activities. Most green Rooibos is exported. It is used as a tea and in extract form in beauty and nutraceutical products. (A nutraceutical is any food substance that provides medical or health benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease.)

Avocado Oil is obtained from the pulp of the avocado and is one of the most active and effective ingredients used in the cosmetic industry.  Avocado oil is highly therapeutic, one of the most highly prized beauty oils, highly emollient with anti-oxidant properties full of vitamins A, B, D & E, protein, lecithin & fatty acids.  These components are not only moisturizing, but also healing.  They enable avocado oil to regenerate cells, soften body tissue, and heal scaly skin and scalp. It is suitable for all skin types. It is not only a good moisturizer, but it is believed to be very therapeutic for dry skin and eczema because it is a penetrating substance rich in vitamins A, B1, B2 panthothenic acid, E and lecithin and fatty acids.  It is also used to treat sun-damaged skin that is dehydrated and under nourished.  Avocado oil, said to help with the regenerating of skin cells, is often found in products for damaged hair and is believed to be a good hair stimulant and an excellent protein conditioner for the hair &scalp.
