Key Features All transaction will be time-stamped by a local hardware real time clock on each meal voucher terminal before transmitting it to the backend Manager Software. It has transaction buffer that can hold up to 1000 transactions (expandable) in its non-volatile memory. The transactions can be loaded to a Host PC via RS485 to RS232 communication port, TCPIP or modem dial up. The meal voucher terminal employs the technology of contactless smartcard capable of read/write Mifare smartcard, accept keypad entries, display messages on its backlit LCD display. Beside the basic functionalities, Each terminal has a built-in advanced support for a Secure Access Module (SAM), which is based on a highly intelligent and secured CPU type contact smartcard. By programming and inserting different personalities of SAM into each terminal, this terminal can assume different functions i.e. Card registeration, programming of voucher scheme, issuing of voucher or use for voucher redemption. |
