Programming
Windows-based Menu-driven Jarltech utility software provided.
Keyboard wedge parameters include 101/102 Keyboard data prefix and suffix, inter-scan delay, inter-character delay, ASCII to IBM conversion preferences.
RS232 parameters include baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits, input/output flow control, Auxiliary device parameters include data prefix and suffix, time block allocation for data input from auxiliar y device.
Magnetic stripe reader (MSR) parameters include MSR data prefix and suffix, MSR track prefixes and suffixes, track splitting, track fields, track markers.
Jarltech keyboard parameters include data prefix and suffix, key click time,key repeat rate,
delay before key repeat, multi-key repeat, character prefix and suffix, dual map switch location, key data string defi nition.

The keyboard accommodates two concurrent key layouts and each key on the layout may be programmed to represent a data string of up to 60 characters. Changing between keyboard layouts is as simple as pressing a key. The Windows-based menu driven utility software provided by Jarltech allows for easy programming of the keyboard.

8031-S is a programmable keyboard accepting single, dual, and quadruple key caps. The programmable keyboard is designed for data entry applications, which require high flexibility and compact size,as in the retail POS or industrial process environments.
