The Hypercom P1300 PCI-approved PIN entry device is designed to meet the PCI PED security standards for PIN entry, providing merchants with low-cost migration from older models due to newly imposed security guidlines. It is compatible with all Hypercom product families. Can be used both with standalone terminals and electronic cash register (ECR) systems. It supports Triple DES DUKPT encryption to protect valuable cardholder PIN information. Once encrypted it can automatically be plugged into the unit's PIN pad port. The P1300 provides clear instructions for the customer during the transaction process with a 2 line alphanumeric LCD display. It's small erogonomic cesign fits comfotably in the customer's hand.

The new Hypercom P1300 PIN pad that you order from Bargain Terminals will be sent unencrypted. In order to use it you will need to contact your merchant account provider who will arrange for it to be sent in to be encrypted or in many cases they will simply swap out an encrypted unit for the unencrypted one.
