An extended read range (24inches / 61cm) ensure barcodes and large packages can still be read when out of direct reach. This will save time and prevent injuries caused by lifting awkward parcels / packages in order to scan the barcode. A fast and aggressive scanner the 3800r is able to read barcodes that have been damaged or poorly printed. This prevents errors when barcodes are read incorrectly or have to be manually entered due to the condition of the barcode being scanned.
