Its rugged casing provides protection to the ineviatable drops that a cordless unit will suffer. Thoughtful design extends to the battery which is an easy change Li-Ion unit allowing a battery change within 30 seconds. With Metrologic's patented RangeGate, the MS6133 scans and stores bar codes when its outside Bluetooth range. When the connection is re-established, the stored scans are automatically downloaded to the host.

It reads from a distance greater than 200mm and has an aim function to help with finding the code.
