Cino Fuzzyscan FBC4000 USB Barcode readers & scanners

The FuzzyScan is a short range scanner - using CCD technology. It has a read range of 0 to 12cm. It reads 65mm wide barcodes at contact and 100mm wide codes at a distance of around 10cm away.

The FuzzyScan comes with a useful Windows utility, the FuzzyScan PowerTool, which provides an convenient, easy to use way to set up the reader, download parameters and diagnosis problems. Finally, the scanner has field upgradable software (using Flash memory) which keeps your barcode reader up to date.

Despite a low cost, the Fuzzyscan is a flexible scanner, the scanner can work with 22 different host machines through various user-replaceable interface cable converters (these may cost more - contact us to check) to meet virtually all needs. The FuzzyScan is ideal for use with battery-powered devices such as laptops, running on just 45mA.

Despite the name, this barcode reader is surprisingly capable and cost-effective. As the name suggests, one of the unique features of the FuzzyScan is its ability to read distorted bar code images. That ability means you get fewer stoppages. In keeping with most barcode readers the FuzzyScan is able to edit the bar codes it scans. By setting up the scanner you are able to add prefixes (such as locations or departments), suffixes, verify, insert, delete and modify the data entering your system.
