Latex for Carpet Backing

AL NARZ RUBBER LATEX , a new latex binder for carpet backing that is ammonia free and provides improved properties that enable the manufacture of more-durable, longer-lasting carpets. The product is a low odor, frothable dispersion that provides improved elongation without loss of tensile strength. Its dried films are very strong and exhibit excellent elongation and water resistance. Styrofan is an excellent carpet binder that may be compounded to provide binding strength, bundle saturation and water resistance. It also has excellent coating properties and may be used in frothed or unfrothed systems in both direct coating and pan applications.
