FINLIGHT foamed P.V.C. sheets are ideal for indoor and outdoor use in advertising, construction and industry. FINLIGHT sheets feature lightweight, durable and versatile surfaces which can be
painted, printed, embosses, engraved or milled, according to customer specifications. FINLIGHT sheets are available in the Standard version, for internal and external applications, which is
especially suitable for outdoor conditions. Both Standard FINLIGHT can be fabricated and installed in an easy way with conventional tools and simple handling methods, thus guaranteeing their
cost-effectiveness.While standard FINLIGHT is distinguished by a smooth matte finish on both sides, what distinguishes is its hard-sheen finish on its exterior. This provides extra U.V. protection,
as well as high resistance to harsh weather conditions. FINLIGHT unique multi-layered structure gives it a significant advantage over competitive foam P.V.C. products for outdoor applications. MAIN
FEATURESStandard FINLIGHT feature the following benefitsHalf the weight of solid P.V.C. sheets. (Specific gravity 0.70 - 0.75) Same thickness at lower costs. Superior impact resistance. Good
mechanical properties. Good insulation, lower heat transmission. High resistance to weathering. FINLIGHT has a special UV resistant layer making it especially suitable for outdoor applications.
Easily worked with conventional tools , prints and paints. Can be easily bonded , vaccum formed , nailed and bolted. Flammability : Self-extinguishing. Lower water absorption. High chemical
resistance. Meet various international standards. Non toxic. TIPICAL APPLICATIONAdvertising : Signs , displays and exhibitions boards etc. Constuction : Models , partitions , wall cladding ,
interior decoration , air conditioning ducts etc. Industry : Control cabinets and pannels , structures for corrosive environments , ducts , etc. Thanks to the fact that standard FINLIGHT are
stabilized by non-toxic materials , they are ideally suited for use in food processing plants. They are safe for contact with infants and children. These applications are the most obvious uses for
standard FINLIGHT sheets; other uses are constantly being found , limited only by a user's inventiveness. FINFLIGHT sheets are especially suited for use in outdoor applications. PRODUCTS

LENGTH 2440 96 2440 96 Standard FINLIGHT can be easily and economically worked with any standardtools used in metal and wood industries. Both are especially easy to handle, transport and
store, thanks to their exceptional light weight.Cutting:- Standard FINLIGHT sheets are easily cut using a straight, finely serrated blademounted on a hand-saw, band-saw, disk-saw or jig-saw. As a
rule, it recommended to use low cutting feedrates and high cutting speeds. In extreme cases, it is recommended that the cutting blades be cooled withcompressed air.Fastening:- Standard FINLIGHT can
be screwed, nailed and bolted in place. It is recommended that a large washer be used to distribute load on a wider area.Printing:- All conventional printing techniques may be applied to Standard
FINLIGHT Sheets must be clean and dry before printing. Adhesive Bonding:- Standard formulations for P.V.C. bonding may be used, aswell as most Neoprene based adhesives. For maximum structural
bonding strength, two-part adhesive kits are recommended. To fix temporarily, pressure-sensitiveself-adhering tapes or pads ma be used.Welding: - Standard FINLIGHT sheet can be welded to each other
or to other rigidP.V.C.sheets with standard hot-air welding equipment, or using the Hot-Blade method.Standard FINLIGHT require the same treatment as other thermoplastic materials, as follows
:-*Proper preparation of the surfaces to be joined.* Selecting the appropriate welding temperature.* Correct joining pressure or forceFor Hot - air Welding :* It is essential that there be even
heat distribution on the welded surfaces. Localized overheating (hot spots)must be avoided.* Excellent results are obtained with normal P.V.C.Recommended Working Conditions :* Angle starting groove
of 60 C.* Welding temperature approx. 280 - 290 C.* Welding speed approx. 1 ft / min.For Hot Blade Welding :* For butt welding of 3.0 mm 6.0 m thick.Standard FINLIGHT the time and temperature may
very slightly according to the sheetthickness.* Hot Blade temperatures : 240 - 250 CFabrication DataInsert TableThermoforming:- Standard FINLIGHT are lightly expanded materials, due to their closed
cell structure. However, they can be thermoformed using vacvuum forming, pressure forming or a combination of the two. Standard tools used in thermoforming of plastic sheets may be used on Standard
FINLIGHT Larger Standard FINLIGHT sheets require air support to avoid excessive sagging. For shallow forms almost any type of equipment for conventional thermoforming will produce satisfactory
results. For more complex deep draw forms, double-sided (sandwich-type) heaters are necessary. Standard FINLIGHT's reaction to working is markedly different from solid plastics. The working cycle
is usually shorter, and the radius and depth of draw are limited to the extent that the surface of the material will stretch.Forming TemperatureA. THERMO-ELASTIC RANGE 115 - 130 CGood extensibility
of material, contour definitions are somewhat limid. The ORIGINAL somoot Standard FINLIGHT and FINLIGHT 2001 surface is retained. Recommended maximum draw ratio h:d approx. 1:1.25B. THERMO-ELASTIC
RANGE 160 - 170 C.Medium extensibility, contour definition excellent, surface gets a grainy look due to slight after-expansion in the skin. Larger sheets need air support to prevent sagging. At
thermoforming temperatures of 160 - 170 C slight changes in colour of the shet may take place.Heating CycleWith radiation heat sources, the heating cycles are much shorter than for solid plastics,
and depend on the type of forming machine. Ceramic type infrared heaters are most suitable. Double sided (top & bottom) heating is strongly recommended, especially for thicker sheets.Approximate
