Problems of Application of Luminescent Pigments in Silicon Rubbers

When luminescent pigments are used in silicon rubbers, the silicon rubber products will have a higher luminance due to the high transparency of basal resins. Generally speaking, silicon rubber products can be produced with reference of that of silicon rubbers, since silicon rubbers are soft and there is no problem of nigrescence in process.

Luminescent pigments produced by Luming Corporation can be used in silicon rubbers. Luminescent pigments can endow silicon rubbers with the function of illumination in darkness. Generally speaking, pigments of Series PLO, Series PLB, SP-2, SP-4 can be used in silicon rubbers, among which Powder7C of Series PLO and Series PLB are of higher luminance and strong comprehensive performances. In addition, the newly developed special powders for color silicon rubber can be made into color silicon products.

Quantity added to luminescent pigments should be around 10%.
