Silicone rubbers:RTV2 Silicone rubbers SILIMOLD series poli-condensation, poli-addition.RTV2 silicone rubbers are liquid or in paste silicone elastomers that reticulate at room temperature with the addition of appropriate catalyst forming a stable and not reversable compound with high elasticity and mechanical resistance.Owing to their high chemical-mechanical properties combined with easy of (to) use, the RTV2 silicone rubbers are suitable for making flexible moulds and matrices to reproduce, starting from an original model, hand-made articles of any kind and form.The silicone moulds, owing to their anti-adherence features, allow an easy demoulding of models and assure extreme faithfulness in the reproduction of details.RTV2 silicone rubbers that vulcanize by poly-addition are characterized by no linear shrinkage and higher stability in time.Applicative sectorsIndustry:Moulds for production of natural and synthetic wax decorative candles, of element for garden furniture, technical articles, articles, toys. Some particular kind of RTV2 silicone rubbers are used in the shoe industry for the creation of aluminium matrices to reproduce soles for footwear. Special silicones for food sector (cake shop moulds, chocolate).Architectonic restoration:Moulds for the reproduction and restoration of plaster or cement architectonic features (decorated columns, rosettes) starting from an original model. RTV2 silicone rubbers are used in this field for their extreme faithfulness in the reproduction of details.Applied Arts and artistic foundry:Moulds for the reproduction of statues, cornices and artistic works, religious articles, friezes of imitation wood, artistic ceramics.
