The suit is made as a two-piece versus a one-piece for greater comfort. With an amply long top you will notice that it will not travel above the top (waist) of the bottoms. The bottoms have elastic stirrups for your feet.
One of the most severe problems facing the cold water diver is exiting the water. Once the suit is deflated it presses against the insulation which in turn presses against the skin, thinning and flattening the insulation. If the wind is blowing this problem is compounded by adding a chill to the divers wet skin surface. But with the tri-laminate Wiggy underwear, the moisture from the diver has had an opportunity to get away from his skin, leaving his skin dry and therefore allowing the chill less of a chance to affect him. The fishnet fabric will not draw heat from the body and coupled with our Lamilite? insulations phenomenal ability to work the same even when wet, your dives will not only be warmer but much more comfortable.
Third Layer:
The third layer is a cotton knit material. When the moisture reaches the cotton, it condenses thus absorbing into the cotton material thereby controlling and stabilizing your perspiration. To go
along with the third layer, Wiggy's has solved a consistent problem which is moisture filling up in the foot area. Since existing dry suit underwear traps the moisture against the skin surface, it
eventually condenses and seeks the lowest point& the foot area. With the tri-laminate, the moisture stays in the area where it was first given off, primarily in the torso and thighs.
Second Layer:
The second layer is our unbounded, silicone-treated, continuous filament fiber. As has been tested and proven with our sleeping bags and outerwear, Lamilite? does not stifle the flow and movement
of the moisture while it is in its vapor state.
First Layer:
The first layer of the tri-laminate is our nylon fishnet material. All moisture given off by the diver will move easily away from the diver's skin surface thru the 3/8-inch holes.
As any diver who dives with a dry suit knows, the biggest problem is what to do with all the perspiration. Wiggy's has solved the problem with a tri-laminate of Lamilite?. All of the moisture given off during the dive can now be stabilized.
