The concept of this breathable Neoprene addresses the problems associated with the discomfort experienced while employing impermeable materials in close proximity to the skin.
This is achieved primarily by maintaining a vaporous atmosphere or microclimate between the skin and the Neoprene fabric. Trapped vapour is efficiently removed from beneath
the fabric by the action of minute "pumps" formed within the body of the material. These pumpsare created by the combination of a deformable chamber and a small exit pore
moulded into the material. During natural movement, flexing of the fabric causes the chambers to pump out the vapour.
The action increases with higher levels of physical activity and thus this neoprene is able to respond to the exercise level of the user, regulating its performance, to match
the production of heat and sweat. The key to the extended wear characteristics of this product lies in the creation and maintenance of a comfortable microclimate, close to the
skin surface, which is preserved over a wide range of activities.
Used for Sailing, Surfing and Kayaking.
