Embroidered/Woven Patches

Woven labels are all threads woven together on a loom. Embroidered patches are threads embroidered onto a substrate, most typically cotton canvas with an embroidery machine. Embroidery doesn allow for the same amount of detail as woven labels do, since the thread is much thicker and it's embroidered onto a stiff substrate.

What the difference between embroidered patches and woven labels?

Embroidered patches are mainly used to brand the outside of garments or bags, rather than used on the inside of garments, like woven or printed labels.
