Testing for the future Single RollThe Cirrus RTC9000 consists of four large rollers each having its own drive motor. The four rollers, which are electrically coupled and not linked mechanically, are independently driven and controlled using in-house state-of-art software - Stratus4TM. Different drive cycles can be accomplished using variable load characteristics, for example in full road and vehicle inertia simulation, warming up, uphill and downhill driving. The RTC9000's versatility is demonstrated in its range of vehicle configurations, functional tests [including dynamic and static brake testing and powertrain], vehisle primary systems [including ABS, electric power steering, engine management systems and on-board diagnostics] and vehicle auxiliary systems [including security and global positioning] and secondary test requirements [including current measurement and quality tests].
