AUTOSCOPE
USB Autoscope is a digital Oscilograph with the functions of the motor tester.
USB Autoscope is designed for the search of the faults in different electronic systems of the auto and for diagnostics of the mechanics state of the petrol engines.
It can also find a use for the diagnostics of diesel engines, equipped with the electronic control system. This device is multipurpose and is not attached to any auto
mark. It is connected to the USB port of any compatible PC or notebook.
It allows detecting the faults in:
the systems of air-and-fuel mixture feed
the ignition systems of different types
other systems of auto electrical equipment (generator, voltage regulator, ABS, starter and so on)USB Autoscope also allows conducting the testing of the mechanical
part of the engine, that is gas distribution systems of petrol engines (positional relationship of the crankshaft and distributing shafts, control of the valve
functioning).
Device and diagnostics modes control is realized with the help of the specialized software, included into the delivery set.
Basic operating modes
The analogue oscillograph mode
In the mode of the analogue oscillograph it is possible to work in eight-, four-, two- or one-channeled modes with the possibility of program connection of any analog
input to any oscillograph channel. At the same time it is possible to write the oscillogram in the streaming operation for the following viewing, storing into the file
or printed output.
The analogue oscillograph mode is designed for the reading of the voltage oscillograms in the transducers circuits and execution units of fuel injection and ignition
systems. It also allows checking up the availability of the starter, generator, to read the vacuum oscillogram in the inlet manifold (with the application of the vacuum
transducer, which is included into the basic hardware), the pressure oscillogram in the engine's cylinders (with the help of pressure transducer)
The toolkit for the signal analysis is embedded into the software - max, min, average voltage/ amplitude, time, and frequency; mapping mode of the average/crest (peak)
voltage value on small scans, setting of the markers.
The software supports the files execution of the analyzer scripts with the purpose of automation of the oscillogram analysis. There is an embedded support of the
external built-in program modules (plug-ins) for the carrying out of some specific test while checking the ignition system and diagnostics of the engine status.
Diagnostics of the ignition systems
In the software there is an embedded support of the external program modules for the carrying out some specific tests, including the Plug-In (Ignition diagnostics) for
the work with the high voltage circuits of ignition systems.
In this mode it is possible to see the "Cylinders parade", besides the program in real time reflects the engine's revolutions, breakdown voltage, time and spark burning
voltage for every cylinder individually.
The software supports the files execution of the analyzer scripts with the purpose of oscillogram analysis automation.
Pressure in the cylinder
The test allows determining the opening and closing moments of inlet and outlet valves.
This test is based on the analysis of pressure oscillogram in the cylinder, which is read with the help of the pressure transducer, twisted instead of the spark plug.
Relative compression
The test is assigned for the evaluation of the relative compression in the engine cylinders on the basis of the starter current oscillogram, as it is know that the more
is the compression in the cylinder, the more is the ripple amplitude of the starter current on the compression stroke in the given cylinder.
The starter current oscillogram is taken with the help of non-contact current transducer.
